Piercing is our passion. To our piercers, it is their dream job taking years of training and constant development in the knowledge of the anatomy, safe techniques, cross contamination and infection control and style. This isn't a job on the side of something else, this is our life to ensure we provide the safest and best piercing experience for you.

Our piercings are carried out by needle not gun as the safest method of piercing the skin. Juts google 'needle vs gun' or give us a call if you're unsure of the difference. We are always happy to talk you through it.

As a studio and as artists, we are inspected and registered with the Environmental Health Office for safe practice of skin piercing treatments. We have specialist treatment insurance and certificates in cross contamination and infection control.  With a collective experience of 14 years of piercing, our piercers will only perform the treatments in the right clinically safe manner and in the right situation. Age, health and anatomy are seriously considered at Love & Ink and if it's not right, we won't do it. Just check out our many reviews and recommendations on facebook and google.

We offer a wide range of different ear, face, body and specialist piercings from the age of 6 years old for first lobes up to any age who wants to be adorned. 

We have strict age and ID requirements and all the info you need for this is stated below and in our terms and conditions at the bottom of the page.

Here at Love & Ink we understand what a big step this is for you. It’s very exciting and a little bit scary too. It’s okay, we can guide you through it step by step from the moment you walk in the door until the time that your piercings are fully healed. 

We pierce from the age of 6 years old for first lobes and we have strict age and ID requirements and all the info you need for this is stated below and in our terms and conditions at the bottom of the page. Sorry, but we do things right here.

SO, WHAT HAPPENS?

We’re not scary people, we pierce lots of little one’s ears and have little ones of our own.

We offer free consultations, which we recommend, if your child is a little bit nervous or curious about the process which they can meet the piercer and have  a look in the piercing room, the jewellery selection and understand what to expect from getting pierced.

For the piercing, we allow a little bit more time for the appointment

We also provide a little pre-piercing pack for parent and child to have a read which explains the process before, during and after to help with any anticipation.

We also offer kids piercing parties with balloons and saved space in our lounge for milkshakes from our very own bar.
