At Love & Ink, we prioritise safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. Our artists use high-quality equipment and follow strict sterilisation procedures to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for our clients. We also offer a wide range of designs and styles to choose from, and our artists are always happy to work with clients to create custom designs that suit their preferences.

We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am until 6pm early week and from April up to 8pm Thursday to Saturday. Sundays 11am to 4pm.

However, we recommend that you book an appointment in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your schedule.

We offer a wide range of tattoo styles, including traditional, realism, black and grey, and more. Our artists are happy to work with you to create a custom design that meets your individual preferences and needs.

Getting a tattoo can be uncomfortable, but the level of pain varies depending on the individual and the location of the tattoo. Our artists use techniques to minimize discomfort, and we can provide guidance on how to care for your tattoo after the appointment to minimize any pain or discomfort.

Love & Ink offers a wide range of piercing services, including earlobe piercings, cartilage piercings, nose piercings, eyebrow piercings, lip piercings, navel piercings, and more. Our piercers are highly skilled and experienced in performing piercings safely and effectively.

Professional piercing is only done via needle rather than gun. We are happy to explain the differences and there is plenty of evidence online if you just search needle vs gun piercing.

In a nutshell; this is our passion and our career. We are trained purely for this. We are not shop assistants or in between jobs or a treatment on the side of our day job. We pierce. We are licenced, insured and trained infection control and cross contamination.

The healing time for a tattoo or piercing depends on various factors, such as the size and location of the tattoo or piercing, the individual's immune system, and how well they follow the aftercare instructions provided by our artists. Generally, tattoos take about 4-6 weeks to heal, while piercings can take anywhere from 8 weeks to several months to fully heal.

Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo or piercing at Love & Ink. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian present for piercings and provide written consent. Tattoos are 18 by law, no exceptions.

The studio is registered by Environment Health Office (EHO) and all artists are personally inspected and certificated to be offering their service at Love & Ink. We are all insured under the studios treatment insurance and we are all trained in our profession, infection control and cross contamination.

All of our equipment is single use and cleaned in house with a five step sterilisation process. Needles are disposable clinical cannulas - one per piercing, and jewellery is highly polished without imperfections, sterilised and all hypoallergenic implant medical grade titanium or solid gold only. Please feel free to ask us about our cleaning and set up procedures.

Yes, we require a deposit to secure your appointment time. The amount of the deposit will depend on the size and complexity of your tattoo or piercing, and will be applied towards the cost of the service. Deposits can only be made by talking to us over the phone or in person so we can validate your appointment and requirements. We do not have Paypal or online payments for this reason.

Yes, we do offer walk-in appointments for smaller tattoos and piercings, subject to availability. We cannot advise in advance if there will be walk in availability as of course it depends if someone has already walked in or booked. We do highly recommend booking an appointment in advance , especially in peak times to ensure that we can accommodate your request at a time that works for you.
