Nadia

Hi, my name is Nadia and I am a 27 year old body piercer in the Love & Ink family.

From the age of around fourteen or fifteen, I had always aspired to be a body piercer although the dream felt far away. When you're at school, they don't speak to you about this industry being an option so how do you go about it? My day came when a friend of a friend knew of an apprenticeship opening up and I joined In Skin in 2019. I have been living my dream ever since in a tattoo and piercing shop.

The act of modifying the body to a vision we see in ourselves is empowering, and my favourite part of this life is seeing pure joy on my client's faces when we bring that vision to life!

When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me mooching around with my beautiful two year old daughter, Raven and my two French Bulldogs.

Toni

I’m Toni, a body piercing apprentice at Love & Ink. After being a long time client and falling in love with body modification, I joined the team in October 2023.

I’m always around to take your bookings, help with any jewellery choice decisions, change your jewellery and now I have started the early days of piercing under the studio's piercing apprenticeship program.

It fills me with pure happiness to help people feel more like their authentic selves with the art of piercing. To some a piercing can be a simple decorative statement, to others it can help form positive connections with their bodies. No matter the reasoning behind the piercing, we’re here to help you achieve what you’re aiming for.

Amy J

"Hi I'm Amy. Art runs through my veins and when I came to tattooing I had been an artist for many years, my whole life really. I studied art all the way from GCSE level up to achieving my BA degree from CSM. Still one of my proudest accomplishments. Due to my background and studies I have always had a strong appreciation for all kinds of art, from classic to conceptual, sculpture to street art. So I came into tattooing from an artistic perspective and a desire to create art in any media.

I began my tattoo apprenticeship two years ago working with a brilliant realism artist who taught me how to transfer my skills in painting and drawing onto skin. He was also a very adaptable artist who was accomplished in all styles of tattooing. This taught me to be a versatile tattooist comfortable with both custom tattoos and walk ins. I am constantly learning and evolving so my style will naturally grow with my progress. However I have always been drawn to fine line, botanical and, of course, realism tattoos. I love designing and am keen to work on exciting pieces together with my clients that I can apply my design skills to. I look forward to making art with you!"
